This ugly bitch and her awful attitude got bumped up to today’s post. I didn’t even bother blurring out her face because, frankly, she was so ugly you could even mistaken her for being a man. OK, why am I being so harsh on the looks? Well, sometimes you really can judge a book by its cover for this lady in her late 40s was as nasty on the inside as she was on the outside. It was early afternoon rush hour in Van Nuys, and I was in the rightmost curb lane behind a line of cars waiting and signaling (all of us were) to make a right into the Costco gas station off of Sepulveda. This self-entitled, impatient, dog-faced lady in her BMW 530i (license plate 4VCR) then passes all of us on our left and cuts in front of a driver already making his/her turn into the gas station. Here’s a win for the transplants, given that this likely L.A. (or at least California) native has probably been driving like this her entire life. Naturally, she pissed off the  car she just cut off….as the other driver honked in protest and tried to re-navigate back in front, this pockmarked, wiry haired brunette proceeded to treat her car as a battering ram, essentially daring the other driver to hit her. To avoid the collision, the other driver backed off, though he/she jumped part of the raised grassy berm in the process. This bitch clearly didn’t care about acting this way, either. In fact, she unapologetically stared resolutely ahead of her with heavy eyelids and a mouth stupidly hanging open the entire time I was waiting in the line next to her, clearly snapping photos of her and her car. After I put down my camera phone, I then opted to turn full on and stare at her to see if she would have the balls (hell, maybe she does have real balls) to look my way and at least acknowledge her behavior face to face with another commuter. Nada. Metaphorically speaking, what she did was analogous to violently shoving a person at the entrance of Ralph’s, knowing fully well that she’d be pacing that individual at every single aisle and will be standing right next to that person at the checkout line. It takes a very special asshole–a prime asshole, if you will–to behave in such a manner without the slightest care given to others.

  1. Hey dude, you seem pretty butthurt about traffic. That’s no way to live. Throw on some tunes and relax a little bit.

You are causing yourself unnecessary stress. Encountering assholes is just part of life. Your best bet is to ignore them, and do you.

We all make the occasional mistake while driving. Sure, some people don’t belong on the road, but this wall of text isn’t going to change that. We often attribute other peoples mistakes to their being flawed persons while overlooking our own mistakes as circumstantial. You have likely done something similarly annoying in your driving career.

Your obsession with this drivers appearance and hateful “bitch” spewing comes off pretty repulsive. You may also want to consider learning to use paragraphs so as to make your diatribes semi-readable.

Finally, if this woman’s audacity shook you so badly that it inspired this angry, inarticulate rant, you are a coward for not directly confronting her. She will never hear this complaint. It’s great to be a big tough internet guy, but it would have been more constructive to calmly explain what made you upset to the driver in question.

    Chill Out… Be an Adult,

  2. Pete, thanks for your input. The site has always been a venting platform for me and other drivers who feel the same way. The concept is taking road rage off the road and onto the internet. It has worked for me and a lot of our other readers, as well. I think you would agree that taking the route of expressing one’s frustrations, albeit in a vitriolic manner, in writing is better than yelling at the other driver in the heat of the moment, or worse, retaliating while behind the wheel. There’ve been plenty of news pieces, interviews, and discussions on this very blog about this manner if you wanted to know more about what we do. Either way, I absolutely agree that it’s important to find a release to dealing with negative encounters in life. Audio books worked for me for a time, and this blog has been working for me for over five years. Either way, thanks for visiting and taking the time to write.
