I love how you talk about making the roads safer, yet in the same breath defend someone who’s literally breaking the law while classifying the anonymous reader who submitted the photo as someone simply fueled by materialistic jealousy. Snapping pics with a camera phone is a discussion that’s been beaten into the ground on this site and in interviews with other news agencies and talk shows, but you’re more than welcome to browse previous posts about what we do on this site and why it is legit. I will say that blindly snapping a photo takes a fraction of the time it takes to dial a number, which I might add is still legal–and you don’t even need to take your eyes off the road. Personally, I crop and rotate everything later to make it look nice and pretty . So I would contend that the stubbornly unapologetic drivers who don’t have a clue about proper driving etiquette are the ones we need to worry about most on our roads. Needless to say, thanks for coming back and voicing your opinion…and I do mean that sincerely. I’m completely game for any discussion about safer driving, even if it means calling this site hypocritical.

Keep-up the good work of photographing vehicles (as if that is a safe and responsible thing to do) while you deftly defy the LA traffic. You are making a huge difference in the overall improvement of our fine city. Keep up the good work, you must be proud of your acheivement.

Now put down your phone/camera, put your two hands on the steering wheel and keep your eyes on the road. We’ll all be safer.

SK, what’s the big deal about not following traffic laws and regulations? You’re kidding, right? Of course, naturally, you immediately go the superficial route in your argument, which is quite typical of the clueless Angeleno who doesn’t care about anyone else but him/herself. And I think the Porsche who impatiently violated right-of-way has to pay more attention to her driving than the person submitting the incident. But nice job representing your sub-standard intelligence and lack of empathy.

What’s the big deal? So you had to wait another few seconds to make your turn. Stop your whining and pay attention to your driving.

Joe, I completely agree. Forget about the fact that it’s a way overpriced SUV, but you have these speed demons who’ve always wanted a Porsche taking turns and weaving in and out of lanes with it as if they were driving a Cayman.
