Breaking Laws for this Acura Driver is as Easy as Breathing

You know that you’ve got problems with a driving culture when it becomes commonplace for people to routinely violate traffic laws and regulations, whether it be lack of signaling, turning lane violations, leapfrogging, or–as is the case with this photo–crossing over double yellow lines. Unlike the last post, the driver of this beaten up maroon Acura Integra is a clear long-time California (and likely L.A.) resident with a license plate that started with a 3. He cut right in front of us without signaling on the 134 East near the L.A. Zoo for apparently no good reason, since traffic in both the #1 lane and the carpool lane was traveling at the same speed. So why didn’t he wait for a break in lane division before merging? It’s because he didn’t have to; if you get away with doing something illegal for years and years, what impetus would you have to change?
The following is a submission I got without a photo, but the person really needed to vent about yet another assholish Mustang driver:
“This is to the douchebag in the red 2010 Mustang. I was doing 50 mph down Soledad Cyn Rd pulling my travel trailer, and he decided to pull out in front of me with only 50 feet or so in front and didn’t speed up. There was no room to go around due to a Honda Odyssey that was passing me, which made me lock up the brakes and smoke the tires on my camper. He had the balls to flip me off when I was laying on the horn, then when I go around, he hits the gas. If I ever see you in town again and it’ll be easy ’cause you have that bright red new car, I’ll take the TV that was in my camper that fell out of its mount because I had to avoid your stupid ass and hit you over the head with it, as well as shower you with all the other things that fell out of the pantry and broke open on the floor. Of course, I had no clue what happened inside until I got to my storage lot to drop it off and went inside to lock everything up. Then my German temper exploded……..”
It’s amazing how many people in this town are simultaneously bull-headed and dumb as sh*t. Honestly, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen these egocentric, aggressive morons weaving on the freeway, cutting off big rigs, and then slamming on the brakes. Did every asshole living in L.A. fail physics in high school? A lack of common sense coupled with an unwarranted sense of entitlement really is the M.O. of this town.

You’re coming up to Glendale, like I’ve said before, those Armenian drivers for the most part have no clue, respect, courtesy, common sense, etc etc etc.
On another note, my brother called me up and was upset because I didn’t answer my phone while I was driving, I called him when I got home. I told him it’s a pet peeve of mine. His answer? “Why? I do it all the time with no problems”
I was driving in a Toll Lane, and you know how you just know someone’s going to cut over? Well, I saw this white Honda driving angrily because traffic on the 91 started backing up and I just knew they were going to cut through the plastic pylons that separate the Toll Lanes from the regular lanes of the freeway.
And indeed they did, somewhat cutting me off. I had already slowed a little because I sensed they, in all their anger, were going to bust through the pylons.
I don’t even know if they had a Transponder, but I sense they didn’t and were going to jump out of the toll lane before the toll charge area came up.
Wow, they’re willing to f-up their own car to save a few minutes. Pathetic. What ever happened to taking pride in your ride??
