Los Angeles drivers can't drive. Plain and simple. Basic traffic laws and driving etiquette clearly do not apply in a town where the people seem to operate in their own little bubble, completely unaware or dismissive of others on the road. Call it what you will: self-entitlement, negligence, malaise, ignorance. My goal? To have mandatory driving tests randomly issued where drivers are eligible for selection after 6 years. Consider this jury duty for the road.

I read your blog here earlier today, and I nodded my head in full agreement, then shook my head, thinking of all the similar experiences I've had with people who don't come to complete stops and think they can "sneak" in behind the car in front of them. I've even left at least one comment here detailing such times.
But, just today, right after reading this blog, I went out to a nearby store, and as I was pulling out of my parking spot, to come to a four-way stop INSIDE the parking lot, a woman (DRIVER 1) drove up behind another car (DRIVER 2), which came to a complete stop correctly, then proceeded to drive straight ahead. A car to the right of them (DRIVER 3), had already stopped and it was her turn to go, so DRIVER 3 started turning right, but of course, DRIVER 1 tried to "sneak" behind DRIVER 2, never coming to a complete stop and thus cutting off DRIVER 3, who easily had the right of way. DRIVER 3 rightfully honked at DRIVER 1, who was completely oblivious.
DRIVER 1 then came behind a few cars at a signal to turn left, and when the light turned green, of course, she was again completely oblivious, and the cars in front of her completely made it through the intersection before she even realized it was green!!! Argggghhhhhh!!!!!
