Leapfrogging Punks in GMC Refuse to Merge When Lane Ends

This is just what we need–two punks in a brand new GMC pickup who try to bully their way around city street with the sheer size of their gas-guzzling vehicle. The inconsiderate, selfish behavior of “lane roulette” exhibited by our city’s aggressive drivers seriously pisses me off. These drivers don’t only pull these stunts on freeways by on-ramps or interchanges, but they routinely try to leapfrog over as many drivers as possible on city streets at the risk of causing a collision that’ll delay everyone’s commute in the end. As a line of commuters approached Mulholland on Beverly Glen at the point where Beverly Glen merges back into one lane of traffic, these turds decided to gun it in the rapidly disappearing right lane instead merging easily behind. All the other cars were taking turns, but these jackasses thought they deserved better and actually honked at me when I wouldn’t slam on my brakes to allow them to speed in front long after the right lane ended. My car’s insured, assholes….how about yours?

It’s not just LA and it’s not just GMC. I actually got hit
in Watsonville a week ago when a moron driving a huge Ford p/u and towing I kid you not a 35 foot boat pulled this stunt. Ran up the ending lane where two necked down to one and bumped me into oncoming lane (no traffic, thank goodness). Minimal damage, except Mr ” I am a retired commercial trucker, I know the law” had to bounce me around a little and threaten a beating before calming down. His insurance company just admitted liability.
Can you imagine people like that thinking that they know the law to justify their own asinine behavior? Good thing you got out of that safely.
