Happy New Year!  We hope everyone got home safely if you were out celebrating last night.  Cops were out in full force, pulling over anyone suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  However, this clearly didn’t this L.A. native in an old maroon Mazda in the slightest (license plate 3M*****).  Traffic was moving at about 35 to 40 mph north on La Brea (at and slightly above the speed limit) in Hollywood.  We suddenly noticed this Mazda tailgating the black sedan in front of it as both vehicles passed on our left.  To say that there was 4 feet between both cars would be generous.  This aggressive prick was in such a rush to get to the next block to make a left turn (a block or two south of Sunset) that he rode the ass of the driver in front of him as hard as possible, as if to send some futile, primeval message.  This “last minute tailgating before a turn” bogus maneuver is a favorite among aggressive L.A. drivers.  It’s almost as if each nanosecond delay before they initiate their turn is a fraction wasted of their useless lives.  Hey, road ragers–calm the fu*k down.  Nothing will delay you from getting to your destinations more than a pointless auto collision.
