It seems like we’re on a roll with drivers who don’t seem to grasp or respect the concept of right-of-way.  Here’s a submission I got from a reader:

“While I was driving east on Melrose today, this asshole in his VW bug made a right turn onto Melrose with no blinker when there clearly was not enough room to make his turn.  To say that I had to slow down to avoid the collision is an understatement.  The side impact crash test ratings for the Beetle sucks ass, and this guy is going to learn this the hard way if he keeps driving like a selfish troll.  He then proceeded to speed away, weaving between cars along the way.  Naturally, I caught up to him a few lights later to snap this photo.  Arrogant toerag….”

Playing chicken with your car and your life seems to be a common past-time for the pricks in this town.  Watch out for an increase in angry drivers this week as they vent their frustrations against the mass populace that comes back into town.
