Some people just don’t get it. Today was a horrible day for commuters, with a fire near the Getty Center by Sepulveda, crashes on the 101 Fwy, Sig Alerts on the 5 Fwy, etc. Speaking of the 5, we were traveling southbound in alternating light/heavy traffic that was recuperating from the various accidents when all of a sudden this impatient, stuck-up biznatch in a white Mitsubishi SUV started aggressively tailgating us, despite the fact that we were already going 70 mph in the #1 lane, which was already moving faster than all of the other lanes. Nothing is worse than an aggressive, road-raging driver who overestimates his or her ability to drive. This particular trophy wife had slow reflexes and threatened to rear-end us on countless occasions as traffic tightened up. Eventually, when the 5 opened up near Disneyland, this blonde idiot started flying like a bat out of hell, speeding and weaving between cars without signaling. On top of slow reflexes, this moron had no idea how to control her fat-ass vehicle as she nearly collided into a couple of cars while executing her reckless maneuvers. Did she want to create another Sig Alert on the 5? What’s her deal? High maintenance ho….

Read the sign: SLOWER TRAFFIC MOVE RIGHT. obviously you didn’t comply. It didn’t say traffic slower than 70mph move right. You’re supposed to move over when you’re in lane #1 when someone else wants to go faster. Read it in the DMV handbook before you call someone a “stuck up biznatch.”
Blandine, interesting thoughts. So I suppose that moving in steady traffic and at safe distances do not apply in your version of the DMV handbook? Going faster than other lanes of traffic, at pace with other cars in our lane (slightly above the speed limit, i might add) wouldn’t be good enough for you, I suppose? Do you actually recommend that any driver wishing to go as fast as he or she wants just tailgate and plow their way through the left lane? And I suppose weaving through ALL lanes to the point of losing control of one’s vehicle is completely appropriate in your version of the DMV handbook? L.A.’s unflinching subjectivity at its finest, folks. It baffles me how some people actually attempt to defend lunatic, aggressive driving.
Read the sign? Look at the picture, you see cars all around, was he supposed to force his way over? I’m sure if he coulda moved over safely, he could…….. I love the ones that when you’re in the far right lane, they come up on your tail instead of going around when there’s other lanes to the left. Like when I’m in the KW, it’s 55 for me people, get over it. And don’t get me started about the people that use the on ramp lane to try to beat the big truck. Impatient pricks. Go ahead, brake check me and see how long it takes 40 tons to stop from 55. How do you want you and your car served, with or without lumps?
