Jerkoff in Toyota 4Runner Ignores Multiple Laws and Regulations

It’s certainly been awhile since I hammered in one of my oldest theories about L.A. drivers: if you see a driver with a broken or inoperable car light, chances are he or she is a bad driver.  Sure, the exceptions exist for those who have an appointment in a few days to fix the light.  But the vast majority with this issue just don’t care.  Their vehicles might be past warranty, they’re too lazy, they don’t want to spend the money, etc.  Well, here’s a news flash folks: the law requires that all your car lights are working…period.  And how about those drivers in L.A. who just don’t care?  Well, that sort of selfish, negligent nonchalance translates clearly in their poor driving habits.

Take this dick in a white Toyota 4Runner.  License plate starts with a 4,  so you know he’s been driving around L.A. for at least a good number of years.  Also note the broken taillight.  What you can’t see is the cell phone he’s holding in his right hand.  As he was illegally yammering away during rush hour in Beverly Hills, he failed to either acknowledge or obey the malfunctioning traffic light at Charleville and S. Santa Monica (aka Little Santa Monica).  Often, when a traffic signal malfunctions or temporarily loses power, the signal starts flashing a red light in all directions.  For those of us who know how to drive, what does that mean?  If you said, “stop sign,” then you’re correct.  You are supposed to treat that intersection as a stop sign…no if, ands, or buts.  What does this fu*ker do?  He blows through the intersection without stopping, unlike every other driver around him, and nearly hits my car as I was making a right turn from Charleville onto Santa Monica when it was my right-of-way.  What is this?  A case of one’s inability to adapt to a new situation or just an arrogant prick who just doesn’t give a sh*t?  My vote is the latter.
