Here’s a perfect example of why so many kids grow up in L.A. without learning how to drive with patience, courtesy, and respect for others and our traffic laws and regulations.  This mom was carpooling with 4 kids in the car whom she likely picked up at Beverly Hills High, which is just around the corner.  Instead of waiting her turn to make a right turn at the stop sign at Lasky Dr. and S. Santa Monica Blvd. like every other commuter except for those wishing to enter the right turn only lane that leads to Wilshire, this egocentric, impatient parent passes this row of cars and comes up to my right.  When an opportunity arose to merge with traffic, I started to make my right turn into one of the through lanes of traffic on S. Santa Monica.  All of a sudden, this selfish ignoramus nearly hits my car by forcing her way across the right turn only lane and 2 through lanes by making a right directly in front of me to enter into the far left turn only lane onto Wilshire.  Seriously, what the hell is she thinking?  I honked at her and glared as I pulled up next to her at the red light.  This haughty looking woman looked completely unapologetic.  What a way to set a fine example for your children and their friends, lady.  The lesson taught in this situation seems to be me first, others last.
