What’s wrong with this picture? There’s a lot of construction going around near the 134 on-ramps in Burbank by Hollywood Way and Alameda. This photo was taken at the intersection of Pass Ave. and Alameda where there are clear signs and road blocks directing cars to detours to circumvent the road work. With that said, I can’t tell you how many drivers ignore these signs at every single green light sequence. Seriously…people…what’s so hard to understand? Even if you can’t read English, you should be able to at least read road signs that clearly state no left turn. Are people really that egocentric in this town that the slightest “disturbance” to their normal driving routes becomes a serious affront to their rights as Americans? I don’t get it. Instead of following directions, these selfish, idiotic fu*kwads completely hold up traffic in the #1 lane of southbound traffic on Pass by making a left turn. And here’s the kicker: these assholes have to make a quick right and then a left anyway onto Riverside, since all eastbound traffic on Alameda is blocked east of Pass. It pains me to say this, but here’s a reality check folks: obey all traffic signs; they actually do serve a purpose and aren’t solely there to inconvenience you. Dumb sh*ts.

It’s so STUPID…and I promise that I’m not exaggerating when I say that MULTIPLE cars violate this no left turn sign EVERY TIME I happen to be at this intersection. I mean, even if there were enough cops to regulate, people ought to be either smart enough or at least unselfish enough to follow simple rules like this.
They’re sooo stupid that they would do it right in front of the cops and still take the cop to court to fight it!
And the really amazing thing is that you don’t even have to know English to understand what this sign means. You could be from Italy and it would be very clear to you.
This intersection is a mess with or without the construction. I’ve been there. Used to work at Warner Bros down the street. I guess the yuppies that use this area are just used to doing what they want and then paying their way out of it.

At work, leaving the parking structure puts you into a little alleyway that leads to the street. At the end of the alleyway are two very clearly posted signs to indicate that left turns are not allowed. But several times a week I see people clearly ignore the signs. At the least it’s a head-shaker. At worst it’s a major annoyance because when traffic in the direction of that left turn is backed up due to a red light, all they’re doing is holding up every other car trying to exit the alleyway. Would be avoided completely if they all made right turns.
