Here’s a few more parking pictures for your enjoyment. They don’t really need much explanation. The above photo was submitted by a reader in Santa Clarita:
“This is a picture of some numbnuts in our condo complex in Santa Clarita that just couldn’t fit their SUV into the parking space, so – hey, why not? Lets use the curb and some grass to park on. These idiots never cease to amaze me! This guy needs a bicycle!”
This photo does highlight a deeper issue plaguing much of Los Angeles. As vehicles have been getting larger, parking spaces have more or less stayed the same size. I have had more nicks and dings on my car in the two short years that I’ve lived here full-time than in the previous 9 years living in New York. Now let’s be honest, how many of us actually need vehicles the size of side-by-side Clydesdales? My wife and I are contemplating buying a Smart car; however, driving on the freeway with a vehicle that size seems tantamount to suicide while sharing the road with these gas-guzzling behemoths, often steered by inboservant or overly aggressive morons.

Now I had to share this next photo even though it’s a submission from Laurel, MD–close to Baltimore. This was taken in a Target parking lot. When the reader walked up to take a closer look, he saw that the tire of the sedan was actually touch the tire of the SUV. When he went into the store, there was an announcement for someone to the move the car, which the asinine driver did shortly thereafter. Anyway, misery loves company, right? May the jackholes of America unite.

But I was really taken aback by the redneck park job in Maryland! How idiotic is that? Totally clueless. At this point, I would have called out the po-po for a sobriety test!
HOw the hell does someone park like that?? I mean I’ve seen some pretty awful parking jobs, but that is plain ridiculous. Bet you it was a woman driver.
