Pasadena Drivers Susceptible to Night Blindness

Idiocy Meter

Asshole Meter

We’ve been featuring a lot of assholes lately, so I thought it fitting to throw an idiot in there just to mix things up a bit. This photo of what I believe is a Toyota Camry was taken on Green St. in Old Town Pasadena on Saturday night at about 8:30 in the evening. The strong setting sun in the southern U.S. can be deceiving, but make no mistake that your headlights should be on at this time of the night in late July–hell, the sun had already set by 8:00 p.m. And this guy wasn’t alone–we saw at least 15 other cars in a very short period of time driving around without their low beam headlights on. So if a setting sun, lit street lamps, and the majority of other cars on the road with operating headlights don’t give these people a clue, what will? Drivers in this town desperately need to brush up on their observation skills. It’s no wonder why I deal with so many hit pedestrians while dealing with auto liability cases in my part-time job.
