We have another “dick alert” on 6th St.  This guy in this ugly red Ford Fusion (think grimy hooker nail polish) didn’t want to wait in the one through-lane going straight west along 6th St. and felt entitled to use the right-turn-only lane by Fairfax to cut right in front.  Naturally, he didn’t signal either.  We’ve all made mistakes where we’ve found ourselves in a turn-only lane or in an exit-only lane on the freeway.  However, I see more blatant violators of lane violations in L.A. than anywhere else I’ve driven.  Even the ones who may have honestly made a judgment error often feel the need to posture themselves in their vehicle as opposed to asking for courtesy and leeway from their fellow drivers.  After all, image is everything in L.A., is it not?  (Stupid, insecure morons.)  Anyway, these people just don’t care about safe driving and feel that their business takes precedence over the law.  Impatience, self-entitlement, and road-raging behavior like this just raises the average “pissed off meter” for everyone on the road, making matters worse for the asshole in question in the end anyway.  This picture wasn’t even taken during rush hour, though bad traffic is still not an excuse to drive like a rampant yeast infection.
